For sale is a ANTIQUE J.K. STEVENS ART STUDIO PORTRAIT PHOTO OF A MAN IN A SUIT CDV / CABINET CARD. This item is in excellent condition. It is mounted on a 6-1/2" by 4-3/16" heavy card stock. The card has a very ornate design on the backside ( see photo ). This item was produced by J.K. STEVENS ART STUDIO of Chicago. They were located in the McVickers Theatre Building. The card stock has a very slight side to side upward bend to it. This is probably from the mounting process of the photo to the card. there are also a couple small wear marks on the top of the card ( see photo ). Otherwise it is in great shape for a paper item that is well over 100 years old. This piece is probably from the 1870's to about 1890's. It is in great looking shape and it really displays very well.
