For sale is a rare LOT of 44 STAGEBILL THEATER PROGRAMS. This is a great looking lot of old StageBill Chicago theater programs. All of the StageBills are from plays performed in Chicago back in 1939 to 1954. There are 42 Stage Bills and 2 other program sheets. Most of the programs are in excellent condition. Most have normal light wear. The binding is in very nice shape on almost all of them. Three of the programs have been trimmed at the bottom to fit in to a ringed binder ( see all photos, bottom 3rd from right, & far right ). One program also has a small tear and a piece missing from a corner of the cover. All of the programs have been hole punched to mount inside a ringed binder. Each program has at least 3 holes to fit a 3 hole binder. Two of the programs are actually just 1 or 2 sheets with a the play information. All of the programs are from 1939 to 1954. The plays feature many stars of the day. There are many different famous theater and movie stars featured on the cover of many of the programs. Many also have Chesterfield cigarette ads on the back featuring many stars of the day as well. Despite the hole punches in each programs. This lot is of great Chicago theatrical significants. Most of these programs may not even exist any longer today. How many of these old theatrical productions have long been forgotten? This is a rare opportunity to relive some of the old plays that were performed in Chicago back in the 1940's to 1950's. If you have any further questions about which plays are included or an actor please contact me. There is way too much information to post here with the listing. Please see photos for more information.
